What is interesting or unique about the location and surrounding area of your hotel?
Our most unique feature will have to be our location. We are located in the heart of North York Moors in the traditional market town of Helmsley. We welcome guests from all over the world who have come to get away from it all and sample our famous Yorkshire hospitality and utilize the sweeping moorlands, ancient woods, timeless villages and crinkly coastline. The area has it all and really is a special place.
What first impression/ experience can a guest expect upon arrival?
As soon as you arrive at the Hotel and walk through the door, you will be greeted by the most perfect and beautiful view of steam rising from our outdoor swimming pool, overlooking our private courtyard. This alone makes your first impression a very memorable one.
What lasting impression do you like your guests to take away from their stay?
Our approach is personal and we pride ourselves on the guest journey here at the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa. Every area of the Hotel, whether it's dining in the Weathervane restaurant or having a treatment in the Verbena Spa, the experience is guest focused with each guest our priority, which follows through from the moment you arrive with us until it is time for you to leave - the perfect place to relax when you need some time out. Our team are 100% committed to their roles and really do take the time to leave that lasting impression that allows our guests to return time after time again.
What facility and/or feature of the hotel is the biggest USP/ selling point?
In my opinion there are so many! From our beautiful, mouth-watering food to the most tranquil relaxing spa treatments. We have it all! However, our main feature of the Hotel & Spa has to be our idyllic outdoor heated swimming pool which is in the centre of our totally private courtyard. You really do think you are in the middle of the Mediterranean​, not the middle of Yorkshire.
What drew you to partner with TEMPLESPA?
Partnering with TEMPLESPA was a no brainer for us. The TEMPLESPA story began in the Mediterranean 22 years ago, which was inspired by the warmth, the vibrancy and the wonderful nutritious ingredients. With our Mediterranean style courtyard TEMPLESPA was just the perfect fit for us.
What changes or new exciting developments can your customer expect in 2022?
We have recently refurbished and upgraded our poolside suites which are perfect for a summer staycation. Most of the suites have an outdoor terrace with a seating area that overlooks the terrace and pool.
What amenities / guest services are most important or popular with your guests? ​
All our bedrooms have TEMPLESPA amenities in, which include the LA LA LAGOON Aromatherapy Infused Bath & Shower Gel. The luxury GOOD HAIR DAY & IN GOOD CONDITION shampoo and conditioner, as well as the beautiful calming PEACE BE STILL Body Moisturiser. All the rooms also have luxury fluffy bath robes and slippers, which makes this the perfect way to finish your day after a relaxing afternoon in the Spa.
