Welcome to beautiful and golden October
Through the lens of autumn, there is so much that’s a feast for the eyes or the camera! The contrast of the trees changing from green to yellow, red and orange, some hardy flowers making a determined effort to stay around, crisp blue skies and ripples of warmth that contrast with pockets of chill, it’s just beautiful.
We always take our longer walks and hikes with binoculars, secateurs and a canvas bag, in full expectation we will ‘forage and find’. I’m totally into upcycling and love nothing more than finding a pile of apples to scrump, some green tomatoes that won’t ripen and a few late blackberries to make pickles, jams & jellies and hips & haws that will fill vases for our autumn decorations. It must be the child in me that loves to do a ‘nature table’ outside of autumnal treasures, still hoping to get a good mark from teacher. There is still a little time left to enjoy our wonderful REPOSE campaign, so you can enjoy it.
As a recap…. In TEMPLESPA, one thing we love to do at this time of year is to take our number one product REPOSE and turn it into a beautiful campaign to support a chosen charity. In the past ten years, we are proud to say we have raised over £2 million for a variety of charities. In the past two years, together with you, our wonderful customers helped us raise £266,000 for Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland and that excludes what we’ve raised so far this September! The overwhelming response we’ve received from you has been one of great support and thankfulness we had selected this amazing cause. So, we decided to repeat the organisation this year again. Sadly, this dreadful disease affects so many and undoubtedly, there will be someone in your world who is suffering and we think these societies deserve all the strength they can galvanise.
