We caught up with Charmaine Harbour, Spa Manager from Guildford Harbour Hotel & Spa to ask her what we can expect from a trip…
What is the first thing a customer should feel/see/smell when they arrive at your spa?
Luxurious and soothing aromas of the TEMPLESPA candles, which are always lit to welcome guests and create a relaxing sense of calm. Our warm and friendly front of house team welcome our guests with their knowledgeable and relaxed style.
What is the one thing that you want your customer to remember about your spa?
Our professional and tailored approach to create a bespoke experience for each guest. We want them to leave feeling special.
Which is your best-selling treatment and why?
Our bestselling treatment is the ‘Drift-Away Massage’, a deeply relaxing, top-to-toe treatment to soothe and calm frazzled nerves and wind down an active mind. Its amazing aromatherapy benefits and tailored approach is the ultimate in relieving tension and stress and it mirrors the ethos of our spa.
What drew you to partner with TEMPLESPA treatment and products?
TEMPLESPA has an exclusivity that really appeals to us. It is privately owned and you can’t buy it on the high street so the quality and attention to detail in each product helps to create an authentic and special spa experience.
What is the typical customer experience at your spa?
Harbour Hotel and Spa in Guildford enjoys a cosmopolitan, buzzy city location. The shopping is great and guests are able to walk to town easily. Our luxury spa packages provide exceptional quality with first class facilities making it easy to chill out and escape the world for a day… or more! Treatments centre around exclusive protocols with beautiful opening and closing rituals and touches of unique wellbeing care and attention.
What is your USP or biggest selling point as a spa?
We are proud to be associated with luxury yet remain affordable and accessible to everyone. Our seven treatment rooms, two indoor ‘experience’ pools (one hydrotherapy pool and one plunge pool), a stone oven sauna and an aromatic crystal steam room opens the door to relaxation and wellness – even for our business guests.
Which is your personal favourite TEMPLESPA product/Treatment and why?
My go to product … too many to choose! I would have to say their amazing new resurfacing toner that has just launched this year, GLOWCOLIC. This is a must have for every skin type. It’s gentle enough to use every day and makes my skin look as if I have just had a facial, revealing smooth and glowing skin every time!
My favourite treatment will have to be the Relaxing Body Pamper: 120 min of pure bliss - a full top to toe experience.
